Xmas eve( Overdue)

To summarize, I went out with Ting our Xmas eve to have our Sushi buffet that we crave for longgggg. Met her after my work and had long chats till she stayed over my house! Hahahha. My very first Xmas gift by her; the red roses ring from Guess!

4D3N BKK Trip- Day 4

Last day already, leaving this shopping paradise and the amount of money left in our pocket, I was utterly saddd at that time! Lol.
Bring along all 3 luggage and left it at the hotel reception. We headed back to Platinum for our last minute shopping before we left to airport at about 5pm. As usual, we took a tuk tuk to platinum mall. This tuk tuk is cool, it's modified till like a racer bike. And had label paste like this " THIS CAR ONLY VIP OK". We didn't have loose notes or small changes for the tuk tuk, the fare only cost us 80 baht but we only have 1000 baht each with us. The driver actually trust us and ask us to pay him later when we go back Ecotel to collect our luggage. I have to be honest, I draw another 1000 baht out for more shopping! I'm left with only 1000 baht before drawing money, how can it be enough if I need to spend on tuk tuk, shopping and lunch. Hahahha. The wedges are all damn nice and HIGH, I'm so tall already with the additional height of the wedges I think I will look huge so I gave up the thoughts of buying it. Instead I bought the peachy tone top from this store that I took picture with. I've been eyeing this top since day 2, and bcos it cost for about 380 baht, I refuse to budge in the buy. I thought they might lower down the price. but they didn't :( So on my last day, I went to try my luck once again! It's still the same price (380 baht), I bargain with the lady boss for like almost an hour before she decided to reduce it till 280 baht! Hahahah. And without further consideration, I just buy it. The contact lens there were dirt cheap. But it's too cheap to be true. I don't dare to wear even if I buy it. But damn, alot ppl buying it leh. Some cute lil case available which I think I should buy at that time-.-

Lunch at their MacDonald! Saw the crispy chicken? How old school can it be? They are still having MCrispy when our stopped ages ago! Still as nice as the past and I think it's even nicer than KFC(IMO). Their fillet-O-fish burger are still like the past, using the blue wrapper and the portion was also bigger than ours. Oh why Singapore doesn't have anymore :(

Afterwhich, we head back our hotel and waited for our van to pick us up. It took more than an hour to reach the airport due to the huge jam! In the midst of the journey, I felt nauseous and was having headache! I bet it was due to the uneven road and hours of journey in the van.

Finally till the end of the journey! We reach the airport and was getting ready to check in.
I see almost everywhere of bkk have statues. So I took a picture with it! heheheh.

Hungry hungry! Midnight flight always sell those goody bag of chips and biscuit. Bought 1 and we shared between us :) And when the time strike 12am 30th August 2011, it's my big day!

Reach Singapore at 1230, my brother and his gf picked me up and brought me back to my most familiar and cosy ever home!

Ting, Huiling, Yvonne and my mum ganged up to surprise me with cake and etc. My mum always think celebrating of birthday can only be done on our 21st birthday so usually she don care thus I'm quite surprise with her action that day to actually help them with the surprise :) My room suddenly became a bit chaotic because everyone came gather in my room and sang me a birthday song! Hahahah.

Ting and Huiling stayed over my house and we went out the next morning to celebrate my big day together :)

4D3N BKK Trip- Day 3

Third day at Bkk already! We woke up later than usual! We woke up at 10am. Quickly prepare ourselves and had breakfast at the hotel! The hotel only provide breakfast till 11 am and the last top up would be at 1030. We missed out the good food and only left with congee, corns, cornflakes and salad bar!

Our new destination! City Complex

City Complex is only a few steps away from pratunam market! They sell lots of jeans, denim shorts, formal clothing and someone their traditional clothes. Regretted not purchase a few high waist shorts there, it was cheap, like about 150 baht! My high waist shorts was bleached by my mum and thus I have none left :(

As yvonne wasn't feeling well, we decided to have our lunch at there and take a rest before continuing our shopping. There's this ninty-four cafe at level 1, it seems quite nice so we just went in to try out the dishes. Didn't have great appetite at that moment, we didn't order than sides to go along.

I choose a safe order; black pepper chicken rice Von chose a honey chicken rice I guess.

The food wasn't that fantastic. It's the worse among all the food we taste in Bkk. Quite disappointing. Thank god we didn't order any sides to go with.
After lunch, we got our energy back, we quickly went over to Platinum for more shopping! Purchase a few more things and went back hotel to rest! While walking back to platinum, we passed by pratunam, a few nice tanks were cheaply sold! Due to our excitement, we purchase a few for friends and ourselves. The tank I think was less than 100 baht. Lol

I swear I really think these was taken when we were asleep! Actually I don rmb when mine was taken, so I presume it was after Yvonne wake up! I slept later than her. Hahaha. Her's was taken when she fall asleep as she wasn't feeling well thus it was fast for her to fall asleep! Hahahah


Couldn't rmb the time we woke up, but when we woke up it was already dark at night. Didn't really want to wake up thus the grumpy face :(


As I woke up, I quickly try on the shorts that I purchase that day. Had my first bad experience of the wrong sizing, I've been extra careful when I purchase bottom! Lol. Tadahhhh! I can wear both :D



It's dinner time! Ditch away the western Cafe D Elite and Tom Yum Restaurant, we walked along the street along Ecotel Hotel to search for other food outlet! Upon walking, we saw this bar which have this different ambience and decoration that the usual restaurant or cafe have. Saw the alcohol at the side, was contemplating whether to have some drinks not and we decided not to as we still wanted to do massage later on.

Our meal finally arrived! The portion was a lil small, the garnish wasn't that great but the taste was awesome! Does it look like a beer to you? Hahahah

Along the street, there are several massage palour, hair salon and also roadside food stall. We got this urge to try other massage palour since the price and ambience of the area is nicer!

This time round, we had foot and shoulder massage instead of full! The time is running late and we didn't dare to stay out too late because way before we reach the bar along our the street just now, we were being followed by 2 guys! My guts feeling told me that wasn't just coincidental, even Yvonne felt the same thing. I suggest to go back to our hotel right after our massage as we don't feel safe.

Back to the hotel! I wanted to take picture with their Ecotel lightboard!



Out of boredom, we took out all our loots that we purchased for the past few days. We shift our bed and join them together. Place all the items on it! The space wasn't enough for everything but we tried out best to do so already. Hahahah!
